Job DescriptionAs a Business Analyst with ITW Dynatec, you will have the opportunity to create, implement, evaluate and maintain our core data. You will be working as a liaison between many key stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate data requirements for enhancements to our business processes, product portfolio and financial data and information systems. This will require you to learn and understand our business opportunities and challenge s and recommend solutions that will enable our organization to achieve its goals. This position will provide a gateway to future career opportunities in numerous functions throughout our organization.
The Business Analyst will report to our Global Marketing Director and will be based in our headquarters in Hendersonville, TN, which is 15 miles northeast of downtown Nashville.
Primary Responsibilities:
Tracking & Analysis: Develop and establish a tracking system and process with robust metrics to analyze and optimize company's overall performance. This includes the on-going capture and cleansing of data from a variety of sources both internal and external. Perform quarterly report on division performance and recommend actions for optimization. Partner with stakeholders to track, actualize and analyze the global sales and marketing budgets, report monthly updates to the sales, marketing, and finance team. Synthesize relevant data based on the audience.
Research: Regularly conduct in-depth research to collect and analyze information such as performance data, market data, trends, regulatory and customer/competitor activity. Share-out monthly report to the division leadership team and sales/marketing organization. Contribute to Division long range and annual planning.
Communication: Effectively communicate with internal partners and key stakeholders to share insights, trends, and updates. This includes conducting meetings and presenting data findings and sharing ideas that are compelling and aligned to the audience. Ability to communicate through influence to support desired outcomes.
Support Internal Projects: Support the execution of internal Dynatec Toolbox projects to drive efficiency. Track project activity and recommend areas for improvement; including identification of potential savings opportunities. On-going evaluation of project outcomes to ensure alignment to business goals and objectives.
Ad Hoc Cross-Functional Expert: Performs other additional duties or special projects as assigned by Vice President/General Manager or members of the leadership team.
