Job MissionWith long product cycles, it is essential that ASML has strategic insight from our Customers and the semiconductor ecosystem. The Strategic Marketing Expert will work to ensure long term ASML business success through understanding of market and technology changes and ensuring current and future ASML products and strategy are aligned to meet Customer requirements. The Strategic marketing group provides Customer and external insights that guide ASML’s overall product portfolio. This sector works closely together with the business lines (product owners) and the customer teams.
The Strategic Marketing Expert reports directly to the Head of Corporate Marketing and interfaces internally with Corporate Strategy, Business Lines, Technology, Research, etc. and externally with the technical & management interfaces at the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead deep dive projects in the Corporate Marketing group through developing scope, approach, and plans for delivering Board of Management level project summaries.
Support aligning long-term customer roadmaps and node requirements (5-10 years or more in the future) with ASML solutions addressing both technical performance and cost.
Identify, investigate and strategize the impact of market and technology developments on ASML’s future business and opportunities. Ensure embedding in ASML’s corporate strategy.
Align strategic insights from multiple customers and geographic regions and report to executive stakeholders.
Active participant in the corporate strategic planning cycle providing input on long term customer market and technology trends.
Lead projects on customer cost and affordability, and architect new methods and tools for cost and affordability.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Long-term view of customer and semiconductor market for guidance of Business Lines.
Alignment with ASML Technology team on customer and ecosystem trends.
Education and ExperienceMSc or PhD in Engineering, Physical Science or related; MBA desirable.
Extensive industry experience in semiconductor processing, design, or commercial roles.
Recognized industry professional with broad understanding of semiconductor technology and markets.
Experience of Lithography systems and customer application strongly preferred.
Marketing or commercial experience in semiconductors.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$195,750-326,250Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
