Strategic Operations Director

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies related to the organization's business operations. + Organize operations to provide high quality cost effective services. + Develop and implement policies and procedures that guide staff in delivering services that meet all productivity plans. Implement plans to reduce departmental turnover while maintaining high employee and patient satisfaction. + Coordinate and integrate services to achieve the strategic plan. Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain quality control practices that improve departmental operations. + Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives. **Requirements** Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. **Additional Preferences** + Functional responsibilities to include: + Assumes operational responsibilities for key business functions; directing market-level initiatives and providing guidance and support to site-specific projects + Develops and implements strategies to improve operational efficiency, drive growth, and achieve business objectives + Responsible for 1-3 high priority cross-functional initiatives at any given time + Leads operational excellence and business transformation initiatives + Research, analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance organizational performance + Qualifications: + In-depth understanding of operations, financial management, and strategy of hospital and ambulatory business functions + Strong operational/business acumen and analytical skills + Experience developing and implementing operational practices and policies + 5 or more years related healthcare or hospital leadership experience strongly preferred. + MHA/MBA strongly preferred. + Fellow in American College of Healthcare Executives preferred **Why Join Our Team** Ascension Wisconsin has been providing rewarding careers to healthcare professionals since 1848.
