Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Strategic Planning Intern located in our Salt Lake City, Utah site.

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the student will be responsible for maintaining materials/purchasing data, supply data and information to other production departments, assisting with coordination of contracts, maintaining Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers, and creating and maintaining outsources parts schedules.

What a typical day looks like:

Collects, compiles, analyzes and presents various types of data and assists in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the analysis of dataPrepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on analysis of data from multiple sources and assists with data audits and identifies and escalates potential issues related to metricsSuggests process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activitiesTracks materials, financial performance, and initiates corrective actions when requiredAttend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Senior student pursuing degree in Supply Chain or ProcurementData Analytics experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsHighly collaborative, analytical and excellent communication skillsPrevious Supply Chain/Procurement internship experience, a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

Available to start May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for a 10-12 week Summer assignmentCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university (undergrad program)3.0 minimum GPA
