POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you looking for a hands-on role at a great company? We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Strategic Pricing Manager to join our team. The Strategic Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and facilitating our pricing strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and statistical modeling.

This role will report to the VP, Finance and is a hybrid role based out of Novi, MI.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate closely with Finance, Product Management, and Sales understanding market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives

Leverage industry knowledge and statistical skills to create insights and opportunities

Gain a deep understanding of customer pricing motivations, including shelf pricing strategies, gross-to-net and expected margins

Translate complex data into actionable strategies to drive sales and improve marketing efforts.

Develop tools, processes to operationalize the pricing strategy, this will include piloting new methods/tools through targeted experimentation

Conduct pricing analysis and optimize pricing structures.

Lead through advanced statistical modeling methods and tools to demonstrate the potential impact of various pricing strategies

Conduct what-if scenarios and advise decision-makers based on the results

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make adjustments as needed

Ensure compliance with pricing policies and procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field

Five years of related experience and/or training

Strong understanding of pricing theories & application

Proven track record using analytical approaches in pricing decisions

Experience communicating across technical & business audiences

Strong ability to provide business insights through analytical skills and statistical modeling

Proficiency in MS Office suite, advanced excel skills and data analysis tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 MBA or advanced degree or relevant training

Hiring Range: $72,300.00 - $113,630.00
