The role
We are seeking a visionary Strategic Product Liaison Manager to shape and drive our product strategy in key geographical locations as we shape the future of our software solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be the crucial bridge between our business and our customers, focusing on understanding their long-term strategic priorities, local requirements and translating those insights into actionable guidance for our product development roadmap.
This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the evolution of our industry-leading treasury, liquidity, payments, and financial systems. You will work closely with senior leadership, product management, and engineering teams to ensure our solutions anticipate and address the evolving needs of the modern CFO and their teams.
Responsibilities:
Customer Strategy Deep Dive: Proactively engage with key customer stakeholders in a defined Geography (primarily at the CFO and senior Treasury/Finance levels) to understand their long-term strategic goals, challenges, and aspirations related to treasury, liquidity, payments, and financial management.
Market Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of emerging technology trends (e.g., AI, blockchain, cloud advancements, regulatory changes) and their potential impact on the office of the CFO and the financial landscape. Understanding local trends, infrastructure requirements and potential adoption blockers.
Long-Term Needs Identification: Identify and articulate the overarching, strategic needs of our customer base, going beyond immediate product requests to understand fundamental shifts in their operations and priorities.
Strategic Roadmap Input: Translate gathered customer insights and market trends into clear and actionable recommendations for the long-term strategic direction of our product development.
Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate strategic customer priorities and market insights to product management, engineering, and senior leadership through presentations, reports, and workshops.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, becoming a recognized partner in understanding their strategic vision.
Go To Market: Support local GTM efforts by aligning with Kyriba Sales and Marketing teams.
Competitive Landscape Awareness: Maintain an awareness of the competitive landscape and how competitor strategies might influence customer needs and expectations.
Thought Leadership Contribution: Contribute to internal discussions and potentially external thought leadership initiatives on the future of treasury and finance technology.
About You:
You are a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing CFOs and Finance/Treasury teams.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
You are adept at gathering and synthesizing complex information from various sources.
You have a passion for technology and its potential to transform business operations.
You are proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
You are comfortable presenting to and engaging with senior executives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in one or more of the following areas:
Working directly with corporate treasury or finance functions.
Consulting with CFOs and finance teams on strategy and technology.
Product management or strategy roles within financial software companies.
Sales or account management roles with a strong focus on understanding customer strategy.
Strong understanding of treasury, liquidity, payments, and financial management processes.
Familiarity with relevant financial software solutions and technology trends.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA).
You may also have:
Existing network of contacts within corporate treasury and finance functions.
Experience with market research and analysis methodologies.
Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
Base compensation for this role is: $139,200.00 - $176,025.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay this position includes a variable compensation. The role might also be potentially eligible to long term Incentive.
