Strategic Programs Manager

As a Strategic Programs Manager, you’ll be driving the development, stability, and reliability of occupancy analytics to provide strategic portfolio planning and workplace decision support. You will be a subject matter expert in portfolio and occupancy planning business processes. You will also have familiarity with emerging workplace research, benchmarking, & trends, and provide program planning, occupancy planning tooling, and program management support.  

You’ll need to have a diverse knowledge in Corporate Real Estate. In this role, you will interact with organizational leadership, to devise complex data sourcing, analytics, and visualization strategies in support of their objectives. You will need a thorough understanding of occupancy planning business operating processes and tooling, be highly organized, and able to facilitate programs. You will be a leader in the Occupancy Planning team, modeling superior client relationship management and strategic thinking.  

As a Strategic Program Manager, you'll lead complex occupancy analytics initiatives for clients, aligning their portfolio strategies with long-term business objectives. You'll leverage expertise in Corporate Real Estate, emerging workplace trends, and occupancy planning to provide strategic portfolio and workplace decision support.  

 

Your role involves collaborating with client leadership to develop data-driven strategies, managing multiple related projects, and ensuring program success through risk mitigation, resource optimization, and performance monitoring.  

You'll drive continuous improvement in occupancy planning processes and tools while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering strong client relationships. Your diverse knowledge and strategic thinking will be crucial in delivering value-added solutions that support clients' organizational transformations and complex real estate needs. 

 

What this job involves  

Key responsibilities include: 

 

Lead the production of automated reporting, templates and visual outputs in support of the client’s global portfolio planner.   

Motivate, coordinate, and guide the work of analysts ensuring high quality and timely deliverables. 

Perform complex analysis from multiple data sources; 

Work with OP team in support of space data integrity supporting data audit process of all space data.   

Lead the auditing and iteration of business analytics solutions (e.g. tableau dashboarding and B.I.)  

Collaborate with the client’s technology & analytics team on iteration of existing data sets in all planning data sets  

Support the client’s workplace strategist on strategic initiatives and programs. 

Develop communications and instructional materials.  

Support change management related to strategic program initiatives.   

Create business processes in support of the OP team.   

Support ecosystem mapping, documentation.  Flowcharts which outline the business case and process.  

 

Client Support and Strategic Partnerships:  

Support the client's workplace strategist on strategic initiatives and programs, including associated change management efforts 

Model superior client relationship management and strategic thinking in all client interactions 

Engage with organizational leadership to devise strategies in support of their objectives 

 

Leadership & Team Management:  

Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive program progress 

Balance individual contributions with leadership duties, maintaining operational understanding while steering team direction 

Mentor direct reports, ensure high-quality, timely deliverables, and foster their professional growth 

 

Data Management & Analysis: 

Conduct comprehensive data analysis and management, including complex multi-source analysis, space data auditing, and leading the development of business analytics solutions 

Produce automated reports, templates, and visual outputs for the client's global portfolio planner. 

Collaborate with the client's technology & analytics team on planning data set iterations 

 

Process Development & Documentation: 

Develop and document operational processes, including creating business processes for the OP team and supporting ecosystem mapping with flowcharts that outline business cases and workflows. 

Provide program planning and occupancy planning tooling support to meet client needs 

Develop communications and instructional materials for client use

Requirements  

Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Real Estate, Architecture, Design, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field and 5-7 years of corporate experience, preferably in strategic space/occupancy planning and workplace strategy  

Proficiency in business analytics, data visualization, and advanced analytical tools 

Strong ability to link analysis to business objectives and communicate insights effectively 

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for all levels of interaction 

Adaptable self-starter with strong time management and multi-tasking abilities 

Proactive problem-solver with innovative mindset and team-oriented approach 

Experience in guiding teamwork and managing changing priorities

Estimated total compensation for this position:

130,200.00 – 142,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
