The Role:

Strategic Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing fixed bid projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Project Planning and Management - Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with customers and various other stakeholders and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

·   Scope and Budget Management - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop and manage a detailed project budget and work plan to track and report on project costs. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·    Team Coordination and Leadership - Coordinate with internal resources and customer stakeholders for the flawless execution of projects. Manage project team members, providing direction and support to ensure project success. Foster a productive, cooperative work environment and effectively manage conflict resolution.

·  Communication and Reporting - Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on the status of projects. 

·    Risk Management - Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing risk mitigation strategies. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

·    Quality Assurance - Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.  Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.

Key Requisites:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

·     Strong project management experience, specifically managing fixed bid projects.

·       Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·    Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

·  Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

·       Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

·   Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated experience managing teams and leading complex projects.

·  Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

·   Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
