Strategic Projects Development Director
Job Description SummarySPDD responsible primarily in Indonesia for overall management & development of our strategic initiatives in Indonesia including but not limited to, tendering, negotiation, and award of Public Sector business in Indonesia but may extended (upto 30% of time) for the rest of AKA. Develop relationships locally to include all local entities of cross-border packager/Integrator and EPC customers leading healthcare projects.
Responsible for identiyfing, and account managing the top 5-10, Partners to include distributors , EPC and Integrators in Indonesia/AKA. Leading the origination, structuring and execution (through to orders/sales and cash collection) of projects in Indonesia. Focus on Key strategic Hospital Projects, working with a team PSMs, HTPs and CPMs, providing advisory and consultancy services for health professionals: architects, private investors, International Zone Financing Instititutions, construction companies, Medical Consultants, medical integrators, Public Government Initiatives, etc., with the aim of developing turn-Key Department or hospital wide solutions

SPDD will act as primary interface with the project stakeholders (packagers, construction companies...) to ensure consistent GE HC sales strategy with them across Zone. SPDD will lead the local relationship with these Project Developer companies (from inception to closure, including Compliance requirements), working with the local GE Healthcare Enterprise Solutions Team where the Project will be developed.
SPDD will be responsible to manage, with the ES Team of PSM (Project Sales Managers) HTP (Hospital Technology Planners) and CPM (Customer Project Managers) Outcomes solutions selling responsibilities, in charge of promoting and selling Solutions approach.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Fully understand the terms and conditions of the customer requirement and translate this to specific contract and delivery requirements, ensure contract terms are met by GEHC and its contractors at all times.

Lead the customer’s account relationship including establish regular operating rhythm, organize and lead customer management committee meetings, identify marketing and promotional opportunities and create performance dashboards as well as initiate strategic discussions.

Grow book of business (funnel) by developing projects, managing the sales process including identifying and executing simplification initiatives, driving market share and working with all other departments. Work with LCT team to forecast (orders and Revenue) opportunities and execute sales strategy to ensure that growth and profitability are achieved/exceeded. Act as the “One GE Healthcare” face in front of the customer and coordinate all GEHC stakeholders for the projects they are responsible for from inception to closure.

Leverage GEHC Sales & Project Finance team (HFS) financing capabilities to address projects funding needs.  Leverage the GEHC Enterprise Solutions team: Clinical Pathways, GE HC Partners, Oncology solutions/Education and all other Solutions functions & capabilities to address customer needs and differentiate e.g., Technology Planning, Advisory Design, Service, GE HC Partners, Leadership & Clinical Trainings. Leverage GE government relations & GGO to establish strong relationships with healthcare authorities and financing institutions personnel.

Fully understand the breadth of the relevant product offering to represent the full spectrum of available structures.  Have at least 5 years knowledge and be proficient in the Healthcare projects development market space.

Qualifications / Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of sales experience). Banking/finance/healthcare development subjects or business development preferred, degree.Minimum of 10 years of progressive high level C suite selling sales experience in relevant industry. (Pharma. Healthcare)Comprehensive knowledge of Industry-related financial analysis, bid proposal, and risk, tax and legal principles and analysis.Experience of at least 5 years of Managing a Commercial and Execution Team working in emerging markets
