The Strategic Relationship Manager is an advocate for the Customer, an industry expert and contributes in meaningful ways to the broader Strategic Relationship Management & Consulting team and John Hancock organization.
Individual Accountabilities:
Achieve all annual metrics – retention, customer profitability and engagement
Learn John Hancock Retirement products, features and services and apply as appropriate
Effectively manage internal and external customer relationships, leverage available resources
Exhibit consultative selling and negotiation skills, optimize product features, plan design and employee retirement readiness
Demonstrate executive presence and subject matter expertise to instill confidence and strategically influence outcomes that align Customer and John Hancock objectives
Follow all company and department level processes and procedures, including meeting materials preparation and presentation format, travel and expense, CRM documentation and data integrity
Support new sales and market development initiatives
Job Requirements:

Strong business acumen and presence
Ability to clearly communicate, build rapport and effectively partner with internal and external business partners.

Hold a valid Driver’s license
Hold FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63 or 66, State Insurance licensing or confirmation to obtain within 6 months
