Strategic Sales Manager (Accounts, S&D)
このポジションは、日本の戦略顧客およびサステナビリティ&脱炭素化分野におけるエマソンビジネスを成長させる役割を担います。 市場調査、顧客訪問等から顧客のニーズを理解し、成長戦略を策定・実行します。また、マーケティングや営業活動を通じてエマソンのポートフォリオおよびソリューションをポジショニングし、顧客のニーズの解決を支援します。このポジションは、アジアパシフィック地区本社のStrategic Sales及び脱炭素及びサステナビリティ(S&D)チーム、日本の事業部(BU)のリーダー、各BUの営業や販売店、およびエマソンの各種専門家を含むマトリックス組織全体で連携が重要となります。 このポジションは優れたコラボレーションスキルとエマソンの戦略顧客やパートナーと積極的及び能動的な関与が必要となります。戦略顧客やパートナーと信頼できる関係を築き、顧客の問題を効果的に解決する能力が要求されます。 This position is tasked with expanding Emerson's presence within Japan Strategic accounts and the Sustainability & Decarbonization sectors in Japan. The role involves developing and implementing growth strategies by conducting market research, understanding customer needs, and engaging with clients. Responsibilities also include positioning Emerson’s range of solutions and capabilities to address customer needs, as well as driving marketing and sales enablement efforts. This is a position that will engage across a matrixed organization inclusive of Asia Pacific Strategic Sales & Sustainability and Decarbonization team, Japan Business Unit (BU) Leaders, Sales and representatives and Emerson portfolio subject matter experts. This position requires collaboration across a matrixed organization, including the Asia Pacific Strategic Sales & Sustainability and Decarbonization team, Japan Business Unit (BU) Leaders, Sales representatives, and Emerson portfolio subject matter experts. The ideal candidate should possess proven cross-group collaboration skills, and proactive mindset to engage with customer accounts and partners. The ability to build trusted advisor relationships and effectively solve customer problems is essential. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with high energy, initiative, and management skills that inspire teamwork and trust, enabling them to influence cross-functional teams effectively. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be (職務内容):** • BUと緊密に連携し、日本の戦略的アカウントのビジネス成長計画の策定及び実行 • 日本でのサステナビリティ&脱炭素化(S&D)ビジネスを成長させるための戦略的成長イニシアチブ立案及び実行 • 脱炭素及びサステナビリティビジネスにおける外部機関や顧客への働きかけによる要求仕様および要件へのエマソンのポジショニングの実施 • 戦略顧客及びS&Dに関連する顧客に積極的に関わり、彼らのS&Dニーズを理解し、協力関係を築き、BUの営業チームと協力して顧客の問題解決を支援。 • 戦略顧客及びS&D顧客、規制、市場およびビジネストレンド、ならびにこの競合情報の収集および分析し、上層部への対応策の提示 • ビジネス開発及び営業活動の中で蓄えた顧客情報をもとにビジネスになるアプリケーションを特定し、BUと共に顧客のニーズを満たすためのソリューションを開発 • S&Dビジネスに関する各BUの営業及びマーケティングの知見及び理解を高めるためのトレーニング等の推進 • 複数BUにまたがる顧客向けワークショップ、展示会、イベント等の企画及び運営をエンタープライズマーケティンググループと協力しリード • BUと緊密に協力しS&Dビジネス及びアサインされた戦略顧客での計画受注の予実管理及びフォローアップの実施 • 上司より指示のあった業務/プロジェクトの実行 • Work closely with BUs, develop and execute business growth plan for the strategic accounts. • Develops and drives the implementation of strategic growth initiatives to grow Sustainability & Decarbonization (S&D) business in Japan. • Engages with customers to understand their needs including S&D, builds trusted advisor relationships and positions our Emerson portfolio to solve customer problems working with BU’s sales team. • Builds partnerships & relationship with external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions, shares our expertise with potential collaborators and influences specifications & requirements. • Monitors and analyzes customer, regulatory, market and business trends as well as competitive information in this space. • Identifies applications that will enable demand generation, through deep customer knowledge. Collaborates with business unit representatives in developing solutions to meet customer needs. • Drives the development of sales enablers and S&D situational fluency competencies across the BU Sales & Marketing teams with targeted industry and product training, strategic content resources and consultative selling skills. • Manages and tracks S&D opportunities, annual targets and YTD orders working closely with BU representatives • Performs other assignments / projects as assigned by the supervisor. **Who You Are (応募要件) :** **For This Role, You Will Need:** • 同様の業界での経験、アカウント営業、営業、事業開発経験をお持ちの方 • 直販または間接の両方での販売経験がある方 • 戦略の策定及びそれに必要な分析スキルをお持ちの方 • 社内外の上層部との関係構築及びコミュニケーションスキルをお持ちの方 • 顧客、パートナー、および外部関係者との関係構築に強みを持ち、組織的な目標を達成に実績のある方 • マトリックス組織での横断的に組織をまとめる経験のある方 • イニシアチブを取り、自律的に活動できる方 • 自身およびチームに高い基準を設定し、ドライブできる方 • ビジネスレベルの英語力(会話、プレゼンテーション及び文章) • 出張可の方 • Experience in a similar industry; preferably in an account management, sales, business development function is a plus • Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel driven model is a plus. • Analytical skills essential for market search, converting data into insights and formulating strategies. • Strong relationship building with customers, partners and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. • Strong communication skills, especially for senior leadership engagement, both internally and externally is a plus • Proven leading ability, interpersonal savvy and collaborative skills to work effectively with and across all levels of business within complex organizations. • Self-starter who takes initiatives and works with limited direction. • Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team. • Fluency in spoken and written English is a plus. • Ability and flexibility to travel. **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** • STEMコースまたはビジネスの学位あるいはMBAをお持ちの方 • Degree in any of the STEM courses or Business is plus **Our Offer To You:** At Emerson, we are committed to fostering a culture where every employee is valued and respected for their unique experiences and perspectives.
