Strategic Sourcing Principal Analyst for Post Fab commodity is an individual contributor role newly created to support business growth and will be responsible for working with business units/operations team to grow the business through competitive offerings. This role is a hybrid work mode and will be based in Penang, Malaysia. Key responsibilities include the followings: + Understand business requirements and market dynamics of global supply environment + Maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders + Support Business Units on new business products technology development + Travel as required to support all new business opportunities (10%) and business meetings + Develop and drive commodity sourcing strategies with alignments from key stakeholders + Initiates, analyze and plan annual cost reduction activities + Review new RFQ Q cost and drives negotiations as required to help our customers win + Negotiate service contracts, consignment agreements, scope of work and any other contracts required under his/her commodities + Develop, implement and communicate company policies and sourcing procedures + Review and approve purchase orders for completeness and compliance with company requirements + Ensure 100% compliance to GlobalFoundries SOP + Work on other projects and/or assignments as needed + Support regular business units and operations global team meetings Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Candidates with below aptitudes will excel in this job scope with exciting career progression opportunities: + Education – bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field + Min 3 years of working experience in sourcing/commodity management, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, business strategy, contract manufacturing / outsourcing, and continuous process improvement + Prior work experience in semiconductor assembly and test environment is bonus + Experienced working in a global team + Highly Positive + Good negotiation skills + Competence in data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint skills + Flexibility to attend night calls as business required + Able to travel at short notice GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
