STRATEGIC SOURCING ANALYST IV (On-Site)

Job Overview

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst IV will focus on and manage primarily metals commodity direct spending at the CLS business Lickdale manufacturing plant. Develops and executes the strategy that optimizes the supply chain of such category for TE benefit, aligning with Business Unit strategies. Executes the sourcing process, including but not limited to preparing RFQ packages, price, T&Cs, contracts (pricing agreements, supply agreements, etc), vendor-managed inventory, sourcing strategy, and supplier management. Develops and sustains robust business relationships with internal customers and external suppliers. The position also represents business unit procurement with cross-functional teams such as corporate procurement, product engineering, integrated supply chain, finance, supplier quality, product management, and operations.

Description of the primary work duties and major responsibilities:
 

Accountable to achieve/exceed KPIs related to total cost savings and other procurement metrics. Builds strong relationships with strategic suppliers to optimize performance Develops, executes, and category strategies, ensuring alignment with plant and BU objectives Clears the path to issues related to supply disruptions Ensures and promotes adherence to global processes, policies, procedures, and best practices within TE and an extensive supply base Manages data Integrity in SAP related to the field. Develops and executes Should cost analysis Regular reporting to upper management on objectives performance. Support the Lickdale manufacturing plant on other related initiatives that require cross-functional representation.

Qualifications:
 

5+ years experience in the field Bachelor’s degree (Business management, supply chain, other related field) Knowledge of ERP systems as applicable to planning & purchasing (SAP knowledge is a plus) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent in English language) Project management skills/knowledge, intermediate to advanced, preferred  Strong Negotiation and analytical skills Advanced competency in MS Office applications, mainly focusing on Excel/PowerPoint. Strong presentation skills, experience presenting to upper management preferred (Sr. Mgr, Directors) Essential to intermediate knowledge of finance and cost analysis to determine component price competitiveness

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $112,200 - $168,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
