STRATEGIC SOURCING ANALYST (Project Buyer)
At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures. Tasks and Responsibilities

•    Participate & implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry
•    Ensure that purchasing policy processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs, regarding price, quality and delivery targets, to optimize performance and productivity
•    Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
•    Establish, Review and Manage contracts with suppliers and ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms while maintaining quality standards.
•    To manage and negotiate annual increases proposed by suppliers, ensuring that the proposed increase is market related.
•    Use appropriate resources (including Supplier Development) to ensure supplier partnerships and delivery of sourced products
•    Manage relationships with suppliers. Select and develop new suppliers
•    Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry
•    Provide management reports, key performance data and monitor cost
•    Ensure parts are sourced in full and aligned to production schedules and customer requirements
•    Lead cross-functional project for localization and outsourcing
•    Lead and track annual cost saving project
•    Ensuring full TE compliance respect

What your background should look like:

- Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required**

Professional Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, in direct procurement or related field
- Project management capabilities
- Value stream mapping

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of the supply chain and value chain in the automotive industry
- Contract Negotiation**: Proven track record in negotiating contracts for direct goods and services in the automotive industry. Ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and quality to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Supplier Management**: Experience in managing supplier relationships in the automotive industry. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, evaluate supplier performance, and address non-performance issues.
- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- **Cost Savings**: Measures the amount of money saved by implementing procurement strategies and initiatives that result in cost reductions.
- **Procurement Cycle Time**: Measures the time it takes to complete the procurement process, from identifying the need to awarding the contract. Ensures that the procurement process is efficient and effective.
- **Environmental Sustainability**: Measures the organization's impact on the environment through its procurement activities. Ensures that the organization promotes sustainable practices in its procurement processes.
- Lead the process of procurement and documentation

Operational KPIs
- **Requisition to PO Conversion Rate**: Measures the percentage of requisitions that are successfully converted to purchase orders. Ensures that the procurement process is effective in meeting the needs of the organization.
