Learn more at careers.alight.com (https://careers.alight.com/us/en) . **Strategic Sourcing Director (Market Research & Analytics)** **Overall Summary** The Procurement Excellence Market Research & Analytics Director is a strategic, innovative, and results-oriented professional who drives organizational performance, procurement reform, and best practices in procurement. The role is responsible for implementing a Procurement Excellence program that streamlines, simplifies, and standardizes end-to-end procurement processes, policies, and governance. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to align procurement strategies with company objectives, ensure compliance, and deliver cost savings and customer satisfaction. **KRAs** + Mastery of procurement, strategic sourcing, market research & analytics. + Lead, perform, support /enable market research and analytics initiatives to improve/enhance Procurement processes, technology, and E2E systems including P2P, S2C, and/or SRM. + Ability to synthesize information to understand and challenge category strategies to ensure supporting capabilities are in place to enable service delivery. + Proactively engage Strategic Sourcing Team to define requirements compiled from market research &analytic functions. + Relentlessly gather feedback (data, opinion, etc.) to inform continuous improvement and never satisfied with performance levels. + Keep abreast of latest trends in market research & analytics areas and regularly share information to educate the broader team. + Develop and implement data analysis strategies to optimize procurement activities, supplier performance, support business goals and drive data-driven decisions. + Utilize advanced analytics to create dashboards, forecast trends and inform strategic decisions. + Oversee the collection and analysis of large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams. + Manage ad-hoc analysis requests in a timely manner while understanding and meeting the needs of the stakeholder(s). + Ensure data accuracy and quality while developing dashboards and/or reports to communicate key metrics and findings to stakeholders. + Champion improvement opportunities in technology and tools to act as a change agent. + Elevate Procurement resources and tools as a strategic function.Subject Matter Expert knowledge of procurement/supply chain analytics/market research. **Desired Candidate Profile** + Minimum Required: BBA/BA/BS in business, finance, supply chain management or applicable field. + 10 Years Experience with knowledge of procurement’s market research and analytic functions. Understanding of Smartsheet, Excel and Visio preferred. + Strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain operations, market research and/or data analytics with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion across multiple functions + Data-driven and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets + Tactical and strategic sourcing solutions + Best in class procurement capabilities + Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence cross-functional teams + Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment and build strong internal and cross-functional relationships + Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment + Strong attention to detail + Excellent communication skills -- written, spoken, and presentation + Demonstrated collaboration across organization + Build strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues and leadership in all regions + Strong skillset to think critically; collaborate well with team members; adaptability; flexibility; collaborating with other workstreams; team player and problem solver. + Operates independently with little oversight or guidance. + Ability to travel as required **Flexible Working** So that you can be your best at work and home, we consider flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
