Strategic Sourcing Manager
Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats (MCDT)

Location: UK – Hybrid working model, minimum 2 days per week in the Maidenhead office.

About Us:
MCDT is a UK-based Mars Wrigley unit focused on growth in new snacking categories through co-manufacturing partnerships.

 

The Role:
Lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and innovation to drive MCDT’s long-term success. Collaborate cross-functionally and manage key stakeholder relationships.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Significant procurement experience, delivering innovation and sourcing strategies.Strong financial acumen and communication skills.Proven relationship-building ability with suppliers and stakeholders.Experience in Strategic Sourcing & Category Management.Willingness to travel (~20%, mainly within Europe & UK).

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop & implement sourcing strategies to meet business goals.Manage supplier relationships, quality, service, and cost efficiencies.Identify, negotiate, and qualify new co-manufacturers.Drive continuous operational improvement and compliance.Ensure risk management across IP, quality control, and finances.Collaborate with key stakeholders and regional teams.
