The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be a member of the Corporate Procurement team and will work across all IT and non-IT spend categories to assist Category Managers or lead sourcing initiatives. These initiatives will typically involve the following activities:
Identifying sourcing opportunities based on the category and business objectives
Conducting market analysis and determining the sourcing strategy
Find opportunities for demand management and improvements in execution within the category
Leading RFx events and conducting supplier negotiations
Working with the business divisions to craft and implement contracts and service level agreements
Supporting the supplier relationship management process through the duration of the contract
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will continuously strive to develop and improve category expertise and capability through understanding and application of industry developments, technology, techniques, and shared experience.
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and understanding supplier and category spend, identifying demand management, spend aggregation (leverage) and standardization opportunities to drive increased value and a reduced number of suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will develop strategies to realize these opportunities and implement through appropriate sourcing activity.

What you'll bring:University Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4+ years sourcing experience
Minimum of 2+ years IT Procurement experience
Detailed understanding of sourcing processes and practices
Supplier relationship management, customer relationship management experience
Spend aggregation and demand management experience
Financial understanding of the supply base and total cost of ownership
Collaborative and influencing skills to promote compliance / use of Procurement across business divisions
Problem solving skills to analyze and evaluate internal demand and external supplier information
Great teammate capable of managing relationships effectively with collaborators and suppliers
Attention to detail and ability to assimilate, appraise and extract information
What you’ll get:The salary band for this position ranges from $54,500 to $101,100. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
