We have an opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join us at Honeywell in CAIRO, EGY. To be successful in this role, you need to have 2+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, knowledge of Saudi market and strong negotiation skills and processes.

To\nbe successful in this role, you need to have at least 2+ years of experience in\nprocurement or sourcing as you will be responsible for completing fair and\nreasonable price analyses, executing program-aligned subcontracts, and\ncollaborating with key functions proposals and subcontracts. This role requires\nunderstanding of sourcing life cycle, strong negotiation skills, Knowledge of\nthe local and international suppliers and the ability to manage multiple\nprojects simultaneously. You will report directly to our Strategic Sourcing\nManager, and you will work out of our Cairo- Egypt location.

This position will be supporting KSA and responsible to post award savings to\nimprove the margin & OI while mitigating risks.
The candidate\nfor this position needs to provide and drive a short- and long-term Supply and\nsourcing strategy. In this role the candidate will be closely linked to the\nbusiness as a part of the local leadership team to align the supply strategies\nand initiatives with the requirements of the given geography. The aim of this\nposition is to add value to the business enabling the win of new opportunities\nby providing the most competitive cost also meeting the productivity targets\nduring project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with Sales and estimation and technical team on new project opportunities.Sending RFQ /Scope to Subcontractors and follow up to obtain quotes considering the tendering deadlines.Develop\n relationships with top spend and major key subcontractors /suppliers to\n achieve business results.Drive\n use of qualified suppliers and use of negotiated catalogues by operations\n estimating team. Use applicable negotiation strategies/eAuction to achieve\n savings.Ensures\n supply chain representation during solution development, estimate and risk\n reviews in accordance with standard Honeywell policies and approval\n requirements.Renegotiate\n with subcontractors / materials vendor to record post award savings.Provide\n proposal support tied to the business area needs.  This includes initiating Requests for\n Proposals (RFP), reviewing/analyzing responses and providing guidance to\n the program during the subcontractor selection process. Develop\n and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery\n performance.Conduct\n market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers\n and onboard them.Lead\n supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms\n and conditions.Drive\n continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and\n supply chain efficiency.Collaborate\n with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business\n objectives.Monitor\n supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks\n and ensure compliance.   

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or technical discipline2+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or FinanceStrong negotiation skills and processesAbility to independently lead multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills - verbal and writtenAnalytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong Microsoft excel skillsKnowledge of Saudi\nmarket
