Digital Taxonomist (Marketing) As we continue to develop and grow our marketing taxonomy, you’re going to help us take it to the next level. You will join a globally distributed team working to identify and organize our key concepts so that we can communicate more clearly with our customers. Using Synaptica Graphite/Squirro, you will work closely with our senior Digital Taxonomist to take input from our business stakeholders and construct taxonomies and ontologies. You will work with user experience, software engineering, and content production teams to connect the data with our marketing websites. As part of the Content Strategy and Design team, you’ll also gain insight into other disciplines such as content strategy, SEO strategy and agile development practices. You should have a basic understanding of key taxonomical concepts and standards (such as SKOS), strong organizational skills and attention to detail (if you organize your closet by style and color, this is the role for you). You are highly self-motivated, have c lear communication skills, excellent written English skills, proficiency with Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and interest in working in a collaborative team environment.
