Siemens Developer Experience
Are you ready to tackle real-world challenges and redefine how developers work? As a Product Management Intern/Co-op on Siemens’ Autobahn team, you’ll focus on prototyping impactful solutions and delivering proof of value using modern tools and technologies. Autobahn portal is Siemens’ internal developer portal, empowering developers to work faster and smarter through automated workflows, streamlined CI/CD pipelines, and intuitive service discovery.
You’ll collaborate with cutting-edge technologies like GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and Backstage extensions to build solutions that directly enhance developer experiences across Siemens.
Responsibilities:
Prototyping & Proof of Value:
Partner with engineering teams to design and build prototypes that solve developer pain points.Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate features and demonstrate their value to users and stakeholders.Iterate quickly on solutions based on feedback and metrics, delivering real impact.Problem-Solving with Technology:
Work with tools like Kubernetes, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver functional prototypes.Leverage Backstage extensions and other frameworks to create user-friendly, scalable solutions.User Research & Insights:
Conduct interviews and surveys to uncover developer pain points and opportunities for improvement.Translate insights into actionable prototypes that address real-world challenges.Roadmap Contribution:
Use insights from prototypes and PoCs to contribute to the product roadmap.Advocate for features that deliver measurable value to Siemens’ developer community.Metrics & Impact:
Track the success of prototypesPresent findings to stakeholders, showcasing the technical feasibility and user value of your solutions.Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Passionate about prototyping, problem-solving, and delivering proof of value.Familiarity with tools like Kubernetes, Backstage, Docker, or a strong desire to learn.Confident communicator with the ability to simplify technical concepts and present them effectively.Analytical thinker who thrives on tackling complex challenges with innovative solutions.What You’ll Gain:

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00 for technical roles or $18.00 to $44.00 for non-technical positions. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
