With a strong, active and familial culture, Pub United is the agency’s social club, hosting events as wide reaching as Curling, Trivia Nights and more. **Overview** We’re looking to add a Strategist with a strong digital bent to our happy team. You’re a highly motivated strategist with a deep comfort with data, digital channels expertise, and who genuinely wants to help create quality creative work that leads to client success. You’ll get to work on a wide range of strategic projects, including research, brand strategy, comms planning, journey mapping, creative briefing and reporting. You thrive in a collaborative setting and hold yourself to a high standard. You are invested in setting up the team to develop innovative and effective campaigns **Responsibilities** + Contribute and sometimes lead the strategic thinking on integrated campaigns + Develop audience profiles and consumer journeys + Conduct in-depth research into audiences, cultural trends and competitive activity, and distill them into insights and actionable recommendations + Participate in the design and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative research + Leverage data platforms, social listening tools and digital analytics in diagnosis and insight development + Develop comms plans, content strategies and campaign ecosystems + Own the creative briefing process on assigned projects and act as a sounding board and trusted partner to the Creative team + Enthusiastically contribute to larger strategic projects and brainstorms + Proactively keep up with marketing and consumer trends and identify opportunities to develop internal and/or client education **Qualifications** + 3+ years of marketing experience specific to strategic planning, including digital and brand work + Exposure to and experience with creative briefs, integrated communications plans and channel strategies + A demonstrated ability to develop insights from data and research + Hands-on experience with social listening, web analytics and search trends + Ability to build and deliver a strong presentation that tells a clear and compelling story + Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel and data analysis skills + Ability to learn and master new data tools. Familiarity with NVCS, Vividata, GWI is a strong asset + A passion for bold and effective creative and ownership of your role in getting to it + Self-motivated but highly collaborative, seeks input and is comfortable receiving it, and welcomes diversity of thought.
