You’ve worked at other agencies learning the ropes and can apply several tools and techniques to uncover, articulate, and architect clear and compelling strategies that carve out a unique and differentiating place for brands. This is a high visibility role, which requires outstanding influential, collaboration and communication skills: + A creative first mindset; passionate about the power of great ideas + Prior experience working in the alcohol and spirits category + Bold, fun and confident, with the discipline required of a great strategist **Responsibilities** + Contribute to the strategic planning process to arrive at powerful brand ideas + Using a creativity first mindset, write inspiring briefs, informed by research, acting a catalyst for breakthrough creative work + Provide inspiration and ideas to creative teams as they begin the creative development process; act as a strategic partner and sounding board during the creative process + Conduct in-depth research into culture, category, the competition channel opportunities, competitive activity and distill into actionable implications and recommendations. + Work closely with client, internal and media teams to inform communications planning + Create compelling consumer profiles that provide insight into consumer behaviors, attitudes, lifestyle and usage + Build excellent relationships with creatives, clients and agency partners + Be familiar with widely used and emerging insight tools and media technology, channels and terminology. **Qualifications** + 2 - 5 years of strategic planning experience with a proven track record of transformational, modern marketing work that has grown clients’ business. + An innate curiosity and passion for understanding through exploration + Integrated planning experience with emphasis on storytelling that includes translating numbers (data) into narratives. + Strong reputation for relationships with creative and account leaders and/or teams + Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Additional information** Publicis Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce representative of our community.
