As a Business/Strategy Intern, you will work directly with talented individuals of all levels. With guidance from your manager and direction from a departmental leader you will work on a diverse range of activities within the scope of:
Analyze the financial performance of in-market products and develop actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes.Present insights and findings to cross-functional business leaders to drive informed decisions.Collaborate with product teams to co-create business cases for product portfolios.Partner with product leaders to help develop external investment and acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.Conduct M&A landscaping to identify and prioritize potential investment or acquisition targets.Assist in the due diligence process by supporting workflow management, contributing to analyses, and helping prepare documents for leadership reviewProvide support on operational model development and elements of program management, including setting meeting agendas, consolidating content for cross-functional discussions, and coordinating key deliverables.The right candidate for our internship will be expected to know commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within strategy/business process and rely on mentorship, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to perform the job's functions.
This is preferred to be a hybrid role at ResMed headquarters in San Diego, CA. Candidates will be asked to be available to participate in onsite team meetings. This position is also open to hybrid candidates.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2025; program dates are May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 OR June 16, 2025 – September 5, 2025Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.Understanding of medical devices and healthcare technology through coursework, research, or prior internship experience.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Self-starter, with Knowledge of strategy frameworks and business case development to support decision-making.Experience with financial modeling, market research, or data analysis through coursework, projects, or previous internships.Great interpersonal relations, team cooperation and communication skills.Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizationsExcellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to cross-functional teams. Base Pay Range for this position:
$22.50 - $41.50 per hour.
