Job Description Hiring for ST Telemedia Global Data Centre Philippines

STT GDC Philippines is a joint venture between Globe, Ayala, and ST Telemedia Global Data Centre (STT GDC).

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres is one of the fastest-growing data centre providers, headquartered in Singapore, with a global platform of data centres in the world’s major business markets of over 170 facilities across Singapore, the UK, India, China, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines.

STT GDC offers a full suite of best-in-class, highly scalable, and flexible data centre solutions, connectivity, and support services that best meet customers’ current and future colocation needs.

Lead current state assessments of business challenges and build improvement roadmaps.  Develop and execute against Division's strategic initiatives.  Manage and coach teams and individuals to deliver complex engagements.  Participate in business development efforts across all stages (market analysis, client sourcing, relationship building, proposal development, oral presentations, etc.).  Build and maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders at all levels.  Contribute to digital transformation, emerging technology, macro-economic trends, regulatory challenges, etc.  Guide, coach and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities:

A. Strategic Planning and Execution:

Lead the planning of comprehensive strategic plans that drive organizational growth and performance.

Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

B. Business Portfolio Management:

Oversee the management of the organization's business portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with strategic goals.

Conduct regular portfolio reviews, assessing the performance and potential of existing business units and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Develop and implement strategies for portfolio diversification, risk management, and resource allocation.

C. Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.

Analyze market data, customer insights, and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation.

Stay updated on industry developments and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to enhance the organization's strategic positioning.

D. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and industry leaders.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives.

Communicate the organization's strategic vision and priorities to stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding and commitment.

Coordinate and comply with Globe strategy team requirements, as well as work with other Globe portfolio companies to leverage on the portfolio’s competitive advantage

E. Performance Measurement and Reporting:

Develop and implement robust performance measurement frameworks to track the progress and impact of strategic initiatives.

Provide regular and comprehensive reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Use data-driven analysis to make informed recommendations and guide strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in strategy development, business portfolio management, or related roles.

Deep understanding of strategic planning principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data and market insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and managing business portfolios.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.
