Strategy and Operations Manager, Platform and Devices, Government Affairs and Public Policy
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in a Quantitative, Business, or Public Policy field, or equivalent practical experience. + 4 years of experience in working within strategy or business operations groups. + 2 years of experience in working with executive stakeholders. + 2 years of experience in developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives. Preferred qualifications: + 4 years of experience with investigative problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management. + Experience in working with international, executive teams and stakeholders; with excellent program management skills, and ability to pay high attention to detail, and drive projects to completion. + Experience in managing the planning cycle with cross-functional engagement and prioritization. + Ability to extend hours to overlap with Asia Pacific (APAC) as needed. + Ability to work in a changing environments. + Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and collaborate with executives. In this role, you will work with the Government Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) Executive Leadership Team and other Strategic operations (StratOps) leads to run initiatives, and work across the team and Global Affairs function to help the team be more effective. You will help run the business cadence (e.g., budgeting, planning, reviews), run projects related to roles and responsibilities and organizational design, draft and manage team materials and briefings, and communicate strategy and decision-making to the management team and other stakeholders.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$162,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Support StratOps Leads and Executive Leadership Team members in particular the Platforms and Devices, YouTube, and Asia Pacific (APAC) teams, with additional support on projects, annual planning, budgeting, and executive presentations. + Analyze existing process effectiveness and efficiency, design improvements, drive stakeholder alignment and oversee implementation and measurement of operational improvements. + Lead and execute cross-organization initiatives across topics in partnership with cross-functional teams (e.g., Global Affairs, People Operations, Google Works, Finance) to drive GAPP operating agenda. + Lead coordination of executive forums and developing GAPP materials, managing workstreams, and action items.
