This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
Recovery Planning requires a bank to establish quantitative or qualitative indicators of risk and severe stress triggers, a range of credible recovery options, and impact assessments of each option.
The 165(d) Resolution Plan should include overview of Bank / BHC, operations, and summary of risk positions. It should also include a resolution strategy that mitigates risk of severe adverse effects on financial stability and include liquidity needs to maintain BAU customer services.
The Insured Depository Institution Resolution Plan should include overview of the IDI, IDI operations, and summary of risk positions; and an identified strategy (bridge bank) and failure scenario. Final rule contemplates engagement and capabilities testing (at FDIC’s discretion).
Key Responsibilities
• Lead development of Recovery and Resolution strategies
o Work closely with Asset & Liability Management to develop a resolution scenario and strategy for recovery and resolution
o Assess objects of sale and objects of shutdown

o Understand the bankruptcy and other steps that need to occur in a resolution scenario
• Develop a strategy to test PNC’s capabilities to exercise all resolutions actions that would be required by PNC (assurance testing)

o Develop execution plans for the framework above
o Work with business areas to develop operational capabilities
• Partner with ALM to complete Recovery plan scenario and required updates
