Join our dynamic Strategy team at Nexans, where we drive the company's strategic direction and growth initiatives. Our team plays a critical role in shaping the group’s future by defining corporate strategy, supporting Business Groups in their strategic development, and facilitating key decisions at the highest level. This role has become available as we expand our strategic efforts to support the company’s ongoing transformation towards electrification and growth.

 

GETTING A FLYING START


As a Strategy Director, you will support Nexans' ambitious transformation roadmap and help shape the initiatives to meet group's strategic objectives for 2025-2028. You will work closely with C-level management, analysing mega trends, assessing strategic options, developing implementation roadmaps, and managing central business initiatives that drive growth and value creation across the organization. You’ll be a key player in supporting high-impact projects, including strategic CAPEX investments, M&A initiatives, and the development of our commercial and industrial transformation plans.

 

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

 

Lead strategic analysis and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making. Collaborate across business units to support the design and implementation of strategic roadmaps and action plans. Manage cross-functional initiatives, ensuring effective project management and alignment with strategic objectives. Present strategic insights and recommendations directly to senior management. Drive business transformation initiatives and support the development of new methods and external partnerships.

YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate strategy, M&A due diligences, , ideally from top-tier consulting firms or within the industrial sector. Strong financial and strategic analysis skills, with an ability to communicate complex information concisely. Proven track record in leading complex cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority. Experience collaborating with senior leaders and presenting to C-level executives. Fluent in English, with French proficiency as a plus.
