Caterpillar’s Global Finance Services Organization (GFSO) has an open accountant position for our strategy & transformation team. This role supports initiatives related to GFSO Strategy continuous improvement. It directly reports to the global finance continuous improvement workstream lead. There is a large opportunity for exposure across the organization with this role as it works to partner with the business teams and strategy transformation leaders.
What You Will Do:
Monitor the GFSO idea portal and provide support to users and their initiatives.Maintains strategy portfolio catalogue of projects that drive the organization dashboard.Works to identify replication opportunities across business teams and provide support towards collaboration of business teams.Host monthly segment strategy manager meetings to align activities and goals related to continuous improvement.Support the GFSO Continuous Improvement dashboard.What You Have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis.Top Candidates Will Have:

Location: Peoria, IL, Irving, TX or Nashville, TNThis role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office.Sponsorship is not available.Relocation available for those who qualify.Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
