Pay Rate:  

$82,500 - $110,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual and long-term incentive plans.

The Job You Will Perform:  

This position is part of the North American Packaging Solutions (NAPS) Commercial & Strategic Excellence Team with specific focus on our Strategic, National negotiations 

Reports into the Manager of Strategic Commercial Operations 

Accountable for deploying and maintaining analytics and data visualizations that support key business outcomes for NAPS National & Strategic Accounts 

Responsible for creating all data visualizations assisting in effective story-telling and decision making by the NAPS Lead Team through the NAPS Contract Council 

Execute data aggregation to support strategic negotiations; data sets will include AO/BW, customer pipelines, plant capacity, market intelligence, etc. 

Attend all strategic meetings, capturing notes, action-items and key questions for all sessions with objective to develop into a co-facilitator of strategy meetings over time 

Work cross-functionally with the National Accounts Strategic Analytics team, Marketing, National Account Managers, Directors, and others to support strategy discussions 

Build a library of Contract Council materials, tools and resources to sustain the ongoing Contract Council process 

This position and workload are heavily tied to customer demand and external deadlines; extended onsite hours may be required in order to ensure customer deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency 

  

The Skills You Will Bring:  

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Economics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting or other related discipline  

5-7 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in a role with analytical responsibility 

Leadership experience preferred 

Advanced Proficiency in data visualization tools (i.e., PowerBI) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  

Exposure to Tableau, SAP, SQL, Alteryx, Power Automate and Python preferred  

SAP BW Analysis for Office (AO) 

Desire to learn new analytical skills 

Proactive nature, self-driven, ability to work independently, looking to continually improve
