Strategy & Planning Associate - LatAm Community Operations
**About the Role** As a Strategy & Planning Associate, you will help to build our customer support infrastructure across LATAM and the world. You will also help us transform Uber into a more customer centric company. You will intake strategic projects from conceptualization to implementation that would, in the end, result in a better service for drivers and riders. Finally, you will develop presentations to communicate strategic plans and visions, report on weekly/monthly/quarterly results and opportunities, author strategic initiatives, explore complex business issues, coordinate key strategic meetings with different teams, and develop respective action plans! He/She should have a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, good time-management and stakeholder management, a creative and problem solving attitude, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information. SQL/Python/R expertise will be a distinct advantage. **What you will do:** - Design and lead projects and drive analysis to inform important strategic decisions that improve the support experience for our customers - Lead strategic projects to provide insights to our service model - Coordinate with other members of the Global Community Operations Team to measure the impact and efficiency of products and business processes - Provide insights that drive decisions around process, policy and service model - Develop frameworks to support the company with new markets and products - Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes. - Develop and manage tools and processes to execute against strategic and business plans - Actively support all strategic planning and analytical activity for senior management in the region **Basic Qualifications** - 3 years of proven experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate strategic planning, or related fields, but we're open to consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements. - Great understanding of business strategy, databases, data relationships and data integrity. Analytical rigor is a must! - Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve complex problems with autonomy. - Professional proficiency in English - SQL/Python/R experience - Strong communication skills will allow you to digest and understand business needs from different cities and product lines - Strong ability to take a long-term view of the whole picture and think about the business at a strategic level - Roll up your sleeves and get into the details approach - High adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly - Speed, resourcefulness, and go getter attitude: Uber is committed to constant improvement.
