Strategy Support & Program Management Lead

Job Description The Strategy & Program Management lead is responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight for business development initiatives within the Program Governance framework. The role ensures that programs are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, effectively managed, and deliver the desired outcome. The lead collaborates with various stakeholders to support strategic planning, execution and governance processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning & Alignment

Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine business development strategies

Ensure alignment of programs and projects with B2B’s strategic goals and objectives

Contribute to the development of long-term plans and strategic initiatives

Portfolio Management and Strategy Execution

Manage  the creation, monitoring, and evaluation of implementation plans for the organization’s strategic initiatives. Manage and oversee a portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring efficient reporting, prioritization, and resource allocation.

Business Development Operations and Compliance

Develops and implements standard operating procedures for business development activities, collaborates with various teams to streamline operations, ensures consistency across the B2B organization, and leads the establishment and continuous improvement of internal BD processes. Additionally, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and enhances risk management strategies to safeguard business operations effectively.

Project Delivery and Performance Management

Leads the discussion, development, implementation, and monitoring of project performance metrics, ensuring that all business development projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 5 or more years in experience in a project management-related or strategy-related role

Has the ability to manage stakeholders (including management)

Ideally, a candidate who has a proven track record in project governance and management

An intermediate level of knowledge in financial analysis is an advantage

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology or a related field

Masters’ degree in business, or project management, is an advantage

Soft skills: Good communication skills (e.g., verbal, presentation), Customer/Stakeholder management, Customer orientation and cross-functional collaboration, Presentation skills

Hard skills: Project management, Google Workspace, Strategy delivery and development, Change management
