Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this summer, we’re looking to add a Strategy & Technology Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the Lifestyle Strategy organization, the student will support compelling projects for customer opportunities and business strategies. 

What a typical day looks like:

Learn from cross-disciplinary global engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to understand how Flex makes great productsDevelop compelling proposals for customer opportunities as part of Proactive and transformational proposal processesSupport strategy development processes by researching relevant market and technical requirementsTeardown products from leading brands to learn about their underlying technologies to inform Flex's technology strategyPitch and create interactive demos to help our customers connect our broad technology portfolio to their next-generation productsSupport solution marketing activities such as go-to-market and campaignsAttend and present materials to key stakeholdersParticipate in the Flex Summer Intern Program featuring interactive factory tours, leadership coffee talks, team-building activities, and intern cohort events.

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Rising senior pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Interest or experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, product development lifecycle, or strategy consulting.A self-starter with a strategic mindset, eager to architect solutions for complex global business challenges.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.Preferred experience with AI tools such as Chat GPT or Claude.

Internship Program Requirements:

Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week summer assignmentCurrently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university3.0 minimum GPA
