About the Role:We are seeking a talented and motivatedStructural Analystto join our clientsDynamic Components Structuresgroup. This team ensures the structural integrity of Blades, Rotors, and Transmission/Drive Systems for the next generation of vertical lift aircraft. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including: + Performing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural analysis using classical methods andfinite element analysis (FEA) softwarelikeANSYS. + Calculating Margin of Safety and conducting fatigue analysis to determine component retirement times for both metallic and composite structures. + Conducting modal, buckling, crack propagation, and thermal analysis. + Collaborating with Design, Materials & Process, and Test Engineers to drive innovative solutions. + Creating detailed structural substantiation reports to support drawing releases and certification efforts. What You Bring: + ANSYS experienceis required. + Minimum of9 years of relevant experiencein structural analysis. + Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues. + Comprehensive understanding of loading and dynamics in mechanical assemblies. + High motivation, competitive spirit, and ownership of commitments to meet and exceed objectives. + Excellent communication and technical writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
