Responsibilities Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams including stress tests. Maintains and monitors systems, equipment and supplies for assigned department. Performs complex and technical electrocardiograms per the request of a physician in the diagnosis of arrhythmias. Utilizes MUSE operation and functions to include acquisition, editing, transmission and retrieval of data. May provide clerical support for assigned departments. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety Qualifications Job Requirements: HS Diploma One (1) year of related experience in a healthcare environment Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures ACLS within 6 months of hire CPR. Preferred Job Requirements: Associate’s Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution. Certified Medical Assistant Experience in physiology Paramedic or EMT, basic Arrhythmia course, and completion of EKG course National Certification (RCVT/MA/EMT), Paramedic or Exercise Physiologist
