Quanex is looking for a Strip Mill Operator – 3rd Shift to join us in Cambridge, Ohio.

Summary: This position will assist with gear pump changeovers/cleanouts, assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures, and help create an organized and productive work environment.

 What Success Looks Like:

Perform various tasks that require attention to detail. Complete two-roll mill safety checklists. Ensure tools are working properly, strip specifications are within tolerance, and batches are running consistently. Work toward ensuring that cut samples are prepared for quality assurance testing.

 Your Credentials:

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment High School or GED preferred Willing to work overtime including weekends

The hourly wage for this position is $18 per hour + $1 shift differential for 3rd Shift.

3rd Shift = 10:45pm to 7am.
