The Structures organization within Boeing Commercial Aircraft is seeking Mid-Level and Experienced Structural Analysis Engineers (M/F/D) to join the Interior Monuments and Seats Structures Stress Analysis team in Hamburg, Germany. These Interiors commodities are much of what you see when you fly in the interior of the airplane such as lavatories, galleys, and seats.
The selected candidate will work on complex Customer Introductions for these Interiors commodities, as well as production support, collaborating with internal and external technical experts, Cross-Functional Program Leaders and Executives, and supplier management.
Using your business acumen, desire for challenging projects, and ability to lead through ambiguity, you will be able to combine the expertise and resources of the Structures organization to certify and deliver the best interior products within the industry. Airline Customers and BFE and Galley Suppliers are located around the globe, requiring flexibility to support meetings at any time, as well as the need for travel, domestically and internationally.

This role will require occasional national and/or international travel to work closely with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders when needed at management discretion.
As a Mid-Level Stress Analyst (Level 3), you will have the following responsibilities:
As an Experienced Stress Analyst (Level 4), you will have the following responsibilities:
Leads development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.Leads development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.Integrates component-level structural models and perform integrated analysis, using finite element methods, to develop internal loads and stresses in order to verify structural integrity.Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.Works under minimal direction.The selected candidate will be initially required to perform work onsite with potential for hybrid work options in the future at Management discretion. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Demonstrate engineering knowledge as a level mid-level or experienced stress analyst engineer ideally working in a Structural and/or Aerospace industry.Degrees focused on Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering.Prior experience with Aircraft Interior commodities.Typical Education/Experience:
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Bachelor of Science degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master of Science degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Doctor of Science degree with experience from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, and select Structures engineering.
Experienced (Level 4)
Bachelor of Science degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master of Science degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Doctorate of Science degree with typically 4 or more years’ experience from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil, and select Structures engineering.
