The Opportunity
Drive innovation in structural modelling and digital innovation and contribute to complex multidisciplinary projects.
As a Structural BIM Modeller at Arup, you will:
Create Structural models according to the requirements of the BIM execution plan. Support in the organization of BIM modelling task and definition of effort and time needed. Self-check your work for compliance with modelling conventions, e.g. application of correct LODs and LOIs etc…and company best practice. Resolve day-to-day modelling and coordination issues. Produce high quality drawings for submissions. Coordinate with other discipline in solving clashes and multidisciplinary design topics.Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for someone who is passionate about:
Modelling Structures (both Concrete and Steel), including construction details using REVIT and AUTOCAD. Creating REVIT families. Working with BIM360. Working with Solibri, Dynamo and Rhinoceros.We also value:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team collaboration skills essential for team-based working of all levels. The ability to organize and prioritize effectively, balance assigned work for our constantly evolving environment. Good knowledge of English. Attitude of taking independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, while remaining dedicated to teamwork.Why Arup?
