Atlas is looking for a Structural Engineer 4 for the Duluth, GA area
**Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures.
+ Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly.
+ Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products.
**Minimum Requirements:**
• Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering
• 10 years minimum professional experience designing bridges
• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects
• Diverse body of work in the bridge design industry
• Experience coaching and leading lower level professionals
• Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols
• GDOT experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
**Technical Requirements:**
• Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferred
• Master of Civil Engineering preferred
• Substantial Experience with AASHTO LRFD
• Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and GDOT in house design software preferred
**Other miscellaneous qualities:**
• Ability to travel 25%
• Memberships in Professional Organizations
