Our St. Paul office is looking for a Bridge Designer to join our Twin Cities team.
ResponsibilitiesDesigners in a lead role in an office or practice are responsible primarily for local project-related design activities as well as mentoring and teaching staff on project teams. A Designer’s role includes but is not limited to:
Prepare full design plans for bridge rehabilitations, bridge replacements, and new bridgesCoordinating work activities to maintain schedules and budgets, and achieve qualityExercising sound independent judgment and demonstrating knowledge and application of engineering principalsEstablish CAD workflow, processes, best practices, and procedures for the transportation team in IndianapolisLead in the recruitment, development, and training of a growing CAD Designer transportation team in IndianapolisSupport and help train civil analysts to be able to perform basic CAD skills, plan development, and design detailing best practicesPartner with and provide feedback to project managers and engineers to establish best practices to translate design to plan productionBe the go-to technical resource on the transportation team for CAD troubleshooting, questions, and shortcuts Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency with civil design programs such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, etc. Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starterStrong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learnAbility to work independently and with a team Options Apply NowApplyShareShare this job with a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
