Structural CAE Engineer

The CAE Durability Engineer will be responsible for supporting vibrational structural durability analysis on various powertrain parts for both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) platforms. The ideal candidate will participate in technical design review meetings and contribute to the development of CAE methodology, ensuring that analysis results are effectively communicated to stakeholders, including management.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in durability CAE within the automotive industry. Proficiency in commercial durability software such as ANSA, Abaqus, Nastran, Hypermesh, nCode, and LS-Dyna. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy, customer focus, patience, adaptability, teamwork, and organizational skills. Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

 

Conduct vibrational structural durability analysis on powertrain components for ICE and BEV vehicles. Participate in technical design review meetings and other necessary meetings as required. Support the development and enhancement of CAE methodologies. Communicate and present technical data, analysis results, and findings to stakeholders, including management, in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in CAE technologies and methodologies.
