Position Summary:  JMT's Hunt Valley, MD office is seeking Design Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to be part of a design team in the creation and checking of structural analysis and design calculations, preparation of construction plan sets, and engineer’s estimates.

 

Compensation is $81,120.00 - $101,920.00/annually, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Perform structural engineering design tasks through application of AASHTO LRFD specifications and design-oriented computer programs Assist in the preparation of bridge project documentation including plan sets, specifications, and engineering estimates including the collection, assembling, and organizing of project data Construction documentation reviews Interaction and collaboration with various different engineering disciplines and other consultants Attend internal and external project meetings
