Wood Transmission and Distribution Ltd is looking for Structural Design Engineers with experience of delivering Overhead Steel Lattice towers and transmission line structures to support major infrastructure projects and enhance their skills, with opportunities for training on local design requirements; while these hybrid positions can be based out of any Wood office, candidates who can work from Glasgow or Horsham may be prioritized.

The Role
Using your expertise in Overhead Steel Lattice towers and Transmission line structures, you will report to the Senior OHL Design Engineer and be responsible for creating structural tower models, conducting assessments of transmission assets, and overseeing structural detailing and quality checks within the team.
We welcome applications from experienced OHL structural design professionals skilled in Steel Lattice transmission towers who are keen to enhance their expertise while receiving training on local design requirements; Technical Professional Engineers and Engineering Designers are both eligible for this role.
