Job Title: Structural Designer Job Description This Structural Designer will have a strong experience in structural design and be responsible for performing a variety of routine design assignments on major projects. An ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter, who is a creative problem solver and exhibits sound design practices. Responsibilities + Create detailed structural designs and plans. + Prepare general arrangements, structural design drawings, and sketches using 2D or 3D modeling software. + Collaborate with other discipline designers and engineers as well as shop and construction teams. + Communicate regularly with the project team to convey technical information, identify problems, and develop solutions that achieve project objectives in a timely manner. + Participate in project meetings and reviews. Essential Skills + Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD. + Strong experience in structural design. + Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. + Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate’s degree or minimum of 4 years’ experience in a related field with similar duties preferred. Candidates without a degree but with relevant experience will also be considered. + Knowledge of TEKLA strongly preferred. + Knowledge of Plant 3D desirable. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $38.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
