Company Information TFC Canopy, a division of Centurion Industries, Inc., specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of aluminum composite panels. We use these panels to develop free-standing canopies, wall systems, fascias, and walkway covers for a wide variety of applications. Duties and Responsibilities + To produce accurate and timely drawings, details and material list per customer and TFC specifications + Develop new details required for special applications + Read and interpret quotes and customer supplied drawings to produce required drawings + Occasionally travel to job sites for field measuring, site surveys and erection + Correctly program for the fabrication of ACM panels using nesting program + Maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and clients Knowledge / Abilities / Skills In addition to being able to perform the duties outlined above, canopy detailer should possess the following: + Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD + Experience in detailing structural connections + Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems + Visualization – the ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged + Inductive Reasoning – the ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events) + Ability to double check drawings, programs, material list for accuracy and omissions + Be familiar with shop fabrication processes and procedures + Ability to detail all types of canopies + Review information in job files to determine if all required information is available to correctly do drawings and/or material list + Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office products Physical Job Requirements Frequency Working on a computer C Standing or walking C Sitting C Symbols: Climbing O O=Occasionally (Activity exists up to 1/3 of the time) Working at Heights O F=Frequently (Activity exists from 1/2 to 2/3 of the time) Lift, carry, push, pull C=Constantly (Activity exists 2/3 or more of the time) <10# F 10-50# O 51-100# O Other Requirements + Pre-Employment Drug Screen + Attendance – Must be available when scheduled for work + Must be able to use time effectively and productively + Must perform quality, accurate, complete, well-organized work + Must be able to communicate, understand and follow directions + Must adhere to all applicable company and customer policies and procedures + Skills Test- Mechanical and Aptitude Pay & Benefits Competitive wages plus a full benefits package including: + Comprehensive Group Medical, Rx, Dental, & Vision Coverage + Paid Life/AD&D + Short Term & Long-Term Disability + 401K Retirement Plan with Employer Match + PTO + Paid Holidays + Flexible Healthcare & Dependent Care Pre-Tax Spending Plans + Years of Service Awards
