We have an opportunity for a Structural Draftsperson to join our Community Development team in Maroochydore. This role will see you provide structural design services within urban development, land development, master planned communities, high-density developments through to infrastructure projects. Our projects are located locally and throughout the Southeast Queensland region. The responsibilities:
· Completion of drawings/designs using REVIT and AutoCAD
· Completion of drafting documentation in accordance with procedures
· Participation in project delivery and ensuring work output is of a high technical standard
· Development of plans, estimates, specifications, calculations and planning layouts
· Preparation of work plans and resource schedules for projects
· Provision of support to Project Managers and guidance to cadet staff
About you
Ideally you will possess -
· Advanced Diploma of Engineering or Certificate IV in Engineering (highly regarded though not essential)
· Demonstrated five years minimum experience within a drafting and/or design position
· Demonstrated project experience relating to civil structural discipline including culverts, drainage and pits
· Exposure to a structural consulting environment is desired
· High level competency using REVIT and AutoCAD
· A self-starter attitude and the ability to manage your time effectively to ensure commercial deadlines are met
· Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
· A commitment to quality and accuracy
