Responsibilities + Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer + Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction + Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks + Occasional field site visits Requirements + BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred + EIT Certification preferred + One to four years of experience + MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience preferred + Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements, familiarity with local market design and detail requirements preferred + Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production of bridge projects following Federal, State, and local standards, in particular, FHWA-FL, NPS, CDOT, CCD, and Colorado Springs. Experience in CA, WA, or OR considered a plus. + Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environments Benefits Salary range – $80,000 – $105,000 annually.
