Description

Seeking an enthusiastic and talented entry-level structural engineer to join our team. This role involves performing engineering calculations and construction administration duties for a variety of projects. Engaging in a wide range of projects, from residential to retail, industrial, educational, and medical facilities.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced engineers and contribute to the design, analysis, and inspection of structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

performing engineering calculations and performing construction administration duties.Assist in the design and analysis of structural components and systems for buildings, bridges, and other structures.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.Collaborate with project teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to develop effective solutions.Perform structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software.Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and regulations.

Requirements: 

Degree in Civil Engineering where elective courses were in structural designSolid educational background in steel, concrete, and wood design.Preferred candidates will have completed courses in pre-stressed concrete, masonry, and cold-formed steel design.

Preferred Qualification's

Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred1-3 years experience within Structural Engineering/ or relevant course work An educational background in steel, concrete and wood design as a minimum. Preference given to those that have completed courses in pre-stress concrete, masonry and cold form steel design. Classes in earthquake engineering ideal.Classes in earthquake engineering are highly desirablePreferred candidates will have completed courses in pre-stressed concrete, masonry, and cold-formed steel design.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $67000.00
