Your Role:

Under of guidance of a Structural Engineer, perform design of structural systems including appropriate system concepts including calculations, layout, sizing, selections, specifications, and coordination. Perform site visits of existing structural systems, along with an experienced engineer, for evaluation or to inspect work in progress/completed. Develop Structural Construction Documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD. Review and respond to team members on project design work, RFIs, submittals, and other construction related documents and issues in a professional and timely manner.

 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred) Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred. 0-1 years of experience, (Engineering related job or internship) Proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus, with working knowledge of MS Office. Fundamental knowledge in the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
