We have an opening for a full time Structural Engineer for our Columbia office.

Responsibilities This position will start out as a 100% onsite position in our Columbia, SC office that can eventually move into a hybrid working setting. The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.Assignments are selected to develop professional work knowledge and abilities using prescribed methods and standard techniques.Applies academic knowledge and training attained in the use of various building materials and building systems.Performs a variety of routine engineering tasks requiring basic application of engineering fundamentals with increasing responsibility based on performance.Works under close supervision; receives specific and detailed instructions as to required tasks and results expected with limited opportunity to exercise judgment.Drafts interpretation of own design into completed working drawings.May be assisted by a designer, but usually assumes no responsibility for direction of others.Generally works under the direction of a supervisor.Performs design work on REVIT.Develops basic knowledge of the discipline's codes.Travel required.Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required.Masters Degree preferred.EIT preferred, with little or no practical working experience.Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K, PTO, & paid holidays.
