Your role and responsibilities

Analyzing and implementing fabrication processes in line with ABB’s global fabrication process documentsResponsible for problem recognition at design phase to mitigate risk for each projectDesigning analysis for compliance with customer specifications, local codes and standards, and ABB’s commercial offerIntegrating easily into a team environment and work with ABB’s fabricators to provide a successful outcome to each projectImplementing effective reports (status/ progress) for PMs to use to communicate with all stakeholders and to understand what needs to be done to accomplish project goals and objectivesRecognizing as the specialist in the field of E-house structural design and construction and as such will mentor the local business unit engineers to ensure compliance with the design and constructionAssisting in the improvement of the company’s manufacturing, planning and execution of E-Houses

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in StructuralMinimum five years’ experience in industrial structural steel fabrication, design and construction E-house engineering and design knowledge is an advantage.Experience with projects of different size, complexity and contractual typesIndependent certification license would be advantageousExperience with Space gas or an equivalent engineering design analysis programProficient in AutoCAD. minimum 2D and proficient in STAADA collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
